RULES:

AS OF SEPTEMBER 1ST, NICK CHAT ROOM WILL BE ONLY ACCESSIBLE FOR REGISTERED USER. YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER WITH USERPLANE.COM BY CREATING A PROFILE AND THEN LOG IN WITH BOTH YOUR NEW USERNAME AND PASSWORD. REGISTRATION IS FREE AND ONLY REQUIRES A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS. REGISTRATION WITH THE FORUM IS SEPARATE FROM THE CHAT ROOM REGISTRATION.



1) No Bashing Nick.

2) Differing opinions are welcome, but do not bait people into arguments -- keep it nice and respectful.

3) Be courteous of other chatters, please keep caps and underlining to a minimum. Refrain from obnoxious chatting behavior.

4) Do not send Nick IM's or beg them to dock you while he is chatting. Be fair to all in the room and do not try and take his focus away from the rest of his fans.

5) If you do not want to be docked, do not turn on your A/V, no one needs to ask permission to dock anyone.

6) Be aware that you may hear Big Brother spoilers while in the room.

7) Do not IM admins to ask if you can become an admin or to ask if Nick is chatting. Do not IM admins at all unless you have a technical issue with the chat or you need to report a rule breaker.

8) Do not PARK in the room for hours, waiting for a Nick chat. If you are actively participating on the chat, for hours, that is fine, but if you are just saving your spot for several hours (over 3) then you will get temporarily kicked form the room, to make space for other Nick fans. Let's keep it fair and make sure everyone gets a chance to experience a Nick chat. At anytime there may be random roll calls where we IM or whisper to you, and if you are parked for too long and do not respond you may be temporarily booted from the room.

9) Do not demand that people 'DOCK YOU". There are frequently several people on Audio and not everyone can get more then one window up to have the ability to dock more then 3 people at one time. Just type in the room "I'm Dockable" and if people want to dock you they will. Also remember to turn your audio off when you're not using it, so that chatters know who they can dock and not waste a space on someone who is not actively "talking"

10) Please refrain from using harsh profanity in the room, especially during the daytime hours, as Nick has many fans young and old, a few minors are regular chatters and we'd like to respect them and their parents. This does not mean we are a church room, funny semi-crude pg-13 humor is totally allowed but please try not to cross any lines of decency. Special Note to Parents, we will make every effort to not engage in corruptible activity in the chat room, however while we discourage it, it can't always be helped, so please bare that in mind before letting your child chat in this room. If You wish to engage in more adult discussion there will be an "adult's only room" created for you.
